Starting this Autumn: 2 groups with just 3 students in each. 2 hour long classes enabling more individual attention and effective transformation.
- enjoy better health – physically, mentally and emotionally
- relax deeply
- free your bodymind
- release held tensions and stresses
- encourage better energy flow
- ease stiffness and release pain
- open to experience deeper levels of Consciousness
The course of Therapeutic and Restorative workshops includes gentle, mindful movement work together with seated and lying practices. Learn how to help yourself release habitual holding patterns and help yourself deeply restore and revitalise.
Appreciate how connected the processes within your body are and how these are affected by your mind. Learn to listen with care.
Practices will teach you how to breathe more freely and fully. This paves the way for much better health and more vitality. A more positive mindset develops naturally with along with a growing sense of kindness, gratitude and contentment. An optimistic nature in turn leads to greater wellbeing.
Therapeutic Yoga enables you to connect deeply with your self, your true nature, possibly more deeply than you have ever done before. This level of awareness facilitates deep states of meditation which have been proven to have numerous benefits including
- increasing energy levels and improving sleep
- improving resilience against pain and infection
- reducing inflammation easing conditions such as arthritis, psoriasis, fibromyalgia, IBS
- aiding mental focus, aptitude and motivation
- lowering stress levels and addressing symptoms such as high blood pressure, menstrual pain and headaches
- balancing emotions of fear and sorrow, or the mental states of anxiety and depression
- encouraging a more creative, contented and communicative lifestyle
- increasing levels of self-care and self-esteem
The course is open to anyone who has an interest in improving their quality of life.
I have decades of experience to offer students.
These sessions will develop understanding and practice with home practice enabled and encouraged.
Feedback from one student on the last course explains what the sessions can give you:
“I want to reiterate my thanks for the therapeutic and restorative yoga sessions. I have been delighted to discover just how beneficial yoga can be for me, it’s been a revelation! ….its been incredibly empowering to observe the changes in my mind and body both during the sessions and over the last month or so … I’m more in tune with myself, more aware of my needs and find it easier to come to stillness than before. It has really given me a lot more hope for the future. I can feel that this is just the start of my yoga journey and I’m looking forward to learning more about it and getting to know myself better in the process. And last, but certainly not least, I want to thank you for being such a warm and generous teacher. Even though the people in the group all have different experience with yoga and varied abilities, you manage to look after us all so well and have created a caring, genuine community.”

I’m happy for payment to be made by Standing Orders/Direct Debits – you could pay £10/week or whatever. Or give me a few post dated cheques. I appreciate this is a large investment – but that is exactly what it is. An investment in your wellbeing. If money is tight maybe ask family/friends to help as a birthday/Xmas present. I have one half price bursary place to give if anyone unable to reach out to someone in their network. Yoga is for everybody.

In the summer we will enjoy weekly classes in groups of 6 and the lovely spirit of community that grows so easily. And of course these sessions will be cheaper. In the meantime – lets clear out some cupboards, cellars and attics and make more room – spaciousness and light! What is important to you in this Life?
